Tell me why this is so:

Light and heavy are a measure of weight, long and short are measures of length in space. You can see and touch them, their values can increase and decrease.

But time is a strange thing, I can't touch yesterday, nor catch a hold of tomorrow. I am unable to weigh today nor measure its length...

Tell me, isn't this unreasonable? I really have to continue researching this.
