Porfear left a note as he was dying, stating that he hoped whoever found the letter could find his sword and give it to [110260|Sadera].

Kill [100269|Frostwood Valley Cyclops] and retrieve [200743|Porfear's Sword]. Bring the sword back to [110260|Sadera] in [ZONE_HAROLFE TRADING POST|Harf Trading Post].

On the scribbled note lying near Porfear is written:

"If this letter is found. Please remember that the name of the man who wrote this is Porfear.

I am an adventurer who sustained injuries in a battle with a [100269|Frostwood Valley Cyclops]. I managed to flee to here.

I have abandoned all hope. Suddenly a silver reindeer appeared before me and scared the Cyclopes away. The light emanating from that reindeer made all the terror in my heart fade into tranquility. My injury meant that I couldn't leave where I'm lying now, though.

It is so strange. My whole life I have devoted to searching for the hidden secrets of the world. In the moments of my death, I finally see one of these secrets alive in front of my eyes, yet in my heart all I can think of is my beloved [110260|Sadera].

I wanted to give her a happy life, but now it seems that I will have to leave her alone in this world. I feel so much guilt over what I have done to her.

Whoever reads this, I hope you will fulfill my dying wish. Retrieve the precious sword which the Cyclopes took from me and take it to [110260|Sadera]. Hopefully the sword will protect her in my place."
