Strange Gnolls

Find and kill the gnoll [100851|Roche].When you have completed this quest, report back to [111201|Bhassa Tilondum], lieutenant commander of Gordon's mercenary regiment.

I was thinking about things when you went out to find the antidote, and I don't think this was an accident...

When the gnolls attacked us, I saw one gnoll that didn't fight with other gnolls. He looked like a... commander perhaps?

I know it seems a bit stupid to say this, but it feels like the gnolls' attacks have been different from everything I heard about them before. These attack are more like... tactical actions!

Maybe it was this one gnoll's strategy is to let us drink that poisoned water... this gnoll must be killed. He has a very conspicuous trait among gnolls... he carries a book.

Don't ask me! I don't know why he carries a book. Who's ever heard of a gnoll that can read?

My intuition was right!

We are very lucky that you killed him, or his scheming probably would have killed us in the future!

The gnolls can use the strategy... That is just too scary of a thought!
