Where is Old Hanib?

Go find [114421|Chuanpo Gelan] and ask him about [114841|Old Hanib's] whereabouts.

This note's handwriting...I'm not mistaken! I never thought that he would do this. It must have been him who hired those thugs to steal my notes.

We, the canine people, have always had a knack for seeing through lies. But I have only been concerned with deepening my knowledge of alchemy, researching blindly and treating him as a friend and a mentor. But he all along had a hidden agenda! He coveted my possessions and conspired against me.

I have no faith left in humanity. Who do I have left to trust? The question is can I trust you? The notes are really important to me. Could you help me get them back? It's best if we split up to find him and snatch my notes back.

He must have moved on, but I know that a certain merchant called [114421|Chuanpo Gelan] often makes deals with him. If we're lucky he might know where the vile betrayer currently dwells. You should start by going to the [ZONE_DAELANIS_WASTE_DISTRICT|Abandoned District of Dalanis] to find the wretched looking merchant and ask him where [114841|Old Hanib] is likely to be.

Right, so the merchant mentioned the [ZONE_DNG_DAELANIS_SEWER|Dalanis Sewers]?
