Take the [204300|Weeping Coast Fossil] as a symbol of friendship to [112514|Dilar Yeli], the ecology researcher near the [ZONE_ANARMO HAMLET|Ayam Clan].

Thank you. Thank you for lending a helping hand.

I heard [112519|Guwa] say you're very brave... I'm envious...when can I have...that kind of bravery...

Seeing all the effort people are putting in, I should pull myself together...

I don't know if you're curious about our situation or not, like...only our [ZONE_ANARKA HAMLET|Ayak Clan] compatriots can speak your language...

Actually, we've been interested in your lives from the beginning. I remember the first one to sneak off to learn your sounds was Chief...Chief...sorry...I thought about him again...

([112518|Morya] shakes his head, as if to shake off his sadness.)

He was like a child who never grew up, so he was always really happy to see the surprise of villagers who heard him speak human. But he went too far, and the villagers almost chopped him up with an axe. Just thinking about how he described his escape ...it was so funny. It was also then that the elders told us not to do those kinds of things anymore, so as to not cause trouble.

But it didn't stop us from being curious about you humans, it just turned into secret observation, passed down from one generation to the next.

The thing you brought last time...you call it a soundgathering conch? It said that person was learning our language. I think...this could be a good way to start interacting. I have a [204300|Weeping Coast Fossil]...can you give it to him?

As you humans say...it's...a symbol of friendship. If he wants to understand more about us, he can come find me any time.

If the Chief were still here...he would be so happy. I'll start one step at a time.

This [204300|Weeping Coast Fossil] is a symbol of friendship?

You say the Tiktaalik, [112518|Morya], says I can go ask him about Tiktaalik culture?

For real? Oh wow! Am I dreaming?

Incredible...to have this kind of opportunity! I've dreamt of this for years...finally...

After you went to the Tiktaalik did you discover anything new?
