Into the Hardskull Troll Lair

Help [112625|Layse Ikali], the ecology research team member in the [ZONE_FOREST OF WHISPERS|Muttering Forest], by sneaking into the [ZONE_ROCKSKULL VILLAGE|Hardskull Clan] and bringing back Professor Dez's [204325|Observation Box].

(You try to persuade [112625|Layse] to leave the forest again.)

I know you're looking out for me, my friend, but I really can't leave. I'll be straight with you. My master, Professor Dez, has been missing for several months now. As we speak his students are spread out across the continent of Candara searching for him. We're using his unfinished field reports to narrow down the number of search sites. The Professor often goes walkabout, but this time he's been gone far too long. It's hard to not worry.

If you really want to help me then do me a favor! I need someone to enter the [ZONE_ROCKSKULL VILLAGE|Hardskull Clan] and retrieve Professor Dez's [204325|Observation Box]. You must think I'm crazy. You're right, sending your friends into a Troll Lair is crazy, but right now it's my only option. Once you have it, I'll be able to leave this place, too. Please do this for me, friend.

Do you have it? It looks like an ordinary barrel...

([112625|Layse Ikali] quickly opens the barrel and examines its contents)

Huh! There are just some papers and litter inside. It's certainly not the monitor I told you about. Let me have a look at those papers. "Compendium of Ancient Candarian Organisms, Chapter 7, Trolls"...What? If the professor already finished his study of Trolls, then why did he ask me to come here? This is all very confusing. Something's definitely wrong.

Sometimes I think... that perhaps Professor Dez is already...

No! It cannot be! That man could walk barefoot through poisonous marshes and survive! I shouldn't let my imagination run wild...
