Problems with the Water Supply

Go to the [ZONE_BLACK_NEST_FLATLAND|Black Nest Lowlands], inspect the lower reaches of the river and find out why the water is polluted.

Oh, yes. I remember the captain saying that I could turn to you if I had any little research tasks. Is that right?

What do you mean you know nothing about it? Then let me explain it to you again.

It's recently come to our attention that there's something unusual going on with our drinking water. At the beginning I couldn't quite put my finger on it, but now I'm certain that we need to inspect the river supplying our water!

The main source of water for our camp is in the east of the [ZONE_BLACK_NEST_FLATLAND|Black Nest Lowlands]. The river's headwaters are in <CY>[SC_PIRATE_FRANK|Franko Pirate]</CY> territory. It's not easy for normal people to get in there. Start out by inspecting the water in the lower courses of the river!

Aah! So the water quality has changed because the <CY>[SC_PIRATE_FRANK|Franko Pirates]</CY> have opened a mine? Hmmm... at first I assumed they'd poisoned the water deliberately!

But whatever the reason, the effects are the same!

How are we to get the water clean again? That's a problem for the captain to decide. In the meantime, what can we do to stop it getting any worse? Have you got any ideas?

Are you sure you followed my instructions? From the lower reaches to the headwaters?
