Behind the Legend

Every legend has an origin. I once investigated a legend about a small flaming monster. Wherever the monster went, it would bring the clanking of metal and pyrotechnics with it. After deeper investigation, I discovered that long ago there was a dwarf who was very good at metalwork who lived here. After he moved away, this historical fact changed into this strange story that has been passed on.

My guess is that the remaining legends of Icestream Village are also versions of the truth that have changed throughout the years. I'm ashamed that I don't have the courage to go through that cave myself... The adventurers that I have asked to go there before never came back. It makes me think of the warning from the villagers...
