Dreadlord of the Thirteen Circles

Go to [ZONE_BOUTMAN_HAUNT|Bethomia] and defeat [106444|Fayleod], who is one of the Thirteen Circles, and get from him what is currently sought after.

There's one more thing...something that worries me greatly. Maderoth's minions have invaded this area and destroyed everything in the fortress, almost as if they were even trying to hack at the fog itself to scatter it.

Maderoth must be looking for something in the fortress. The enemy has sent [106444|Fayleod], one of the new Thirteen Circles. Apparently, they are searching for certain books. Whatever it may be that they're trying to learn from them, it is definitely something that involves getting an advantage over us. We have to find what he is searching for before he does.

Gather your companions and defeat [106444|Fayleod]. Then bring me what they are searching for.

This book...it is a collection of information about the true dragons. I assume they were trying to gain ancient knowledge and use it to attack the true dragons. I can understand that much now...

But there's one thing I still can't comprehend: Why does Maderoth hate the true dragons so much?
