Friendship Treaty

Skin 2 [<S>108106|Baby Lenkas] and collect blood from 5 [<S>108110|Tame Fireflint Lizards], to use the leather and blood as makeshift writing materials.

[$playername], the Hulu chief acknowledges our presence and is prepared to meet us in friendship. But his people are so primitive that they don't even have paper for an official treaty.

Will you skin 2 [<S>108106|Baby Lenkas] and bring me the blood of 5 [108110|Tame Fireflint Lizard]? They'll serve as our paper and ink.

Now I can finalize the agreement.

([122832|Ben Shawn] dips the quill in the blood and begins writing on the prepared hide.)

It will take me a while to complete this draft. Maybe the <CY>chief</CY> has a task for you. There are no doubt ceremonial details to attend to that an outsider would never think of.

Only once we have the chief's official confirmation will all our efforts bear fruit.
