Many creatures in the jungle are infected by the Thorned Blood Vine. The vine feeds on the blood and flesh of its hosts and grows inside them. Towards the end, the infected creatures lose their minds, becoming erratic and aggressive.

Without a remedy, these infected creatures attack everything around them. First Mate, do you think you could drive some of these infected creatures away?
