The Phoney War

Use the [123844|Climbing Point] to clamber on board the pirate ship lying off [ZONE_BROKEN_BAY|Port Shard] and defeat 10 <CY>Splitwater Pirates</CY>.

If we hadn't simply accepted the pirates' cheek back then but declared war on them straightaway, everything would be easier now... But now we're in a weaker position, and there's a severe shortage of people, not to mention materials. If we were to declare war on them now, we'd simply be giving them an excuse to attack, and that'd be an even bigger problem for us. The only thing that could be worse is if the [SC_Z32KOBOLD|Kobolds] and [SC_Z32_SEAFOOD|Tiktaaliks] were to take advantage of the situation and attack us at the same time... I don't think we'd stand a chance in hell if that happened.

*sigh* We need to find a way to weaken them, without officially declaring war. We need help in dealing with the <CY>Splitwater Pirates</CY> in the port. Are you with us, [$playername]?

These pirates are becoming ever bolder of late, and the smuggling problems ever worse.

The worker problem is gradually coming to a head...
