The Shadows of Corruption

Head to [ZONE_DGN_BORSBURS_HARD|Pasper's Shrine (Hard)] and defeat [130272|Blackhorn Hafiz].

Greetings, stranger! (Ouch, ow...) Maybe you could be of some assistance.

I hear that an evil corruption has befallen the shrine over yonder. I'm sure you can feel it too. I used to be a great adventurer, once upon a time. But it catches up with all of us eventually. Arthritis, that is. And boy are my knees killing me... And my back! And...

(Nathan rattles off a long list of ailments.)

... Anyway, some time ago, my nephew Loric returned from a grand adventure. He gnawed my ear off all day long with tales of his heroic travails. So I said what a pleasure it was to have his help to hand!

The next morning, he was gone. I figured he was just chomping at the bit and had gone on ahead, as I'm not exactly quick on my feet these days. But now I'm not so sure. Someone needs to deal with the shrine! (Cough, cough.)

Well, I'm here now, but... it's a pretty steep incline up this hill. And not a single bench in sight! When I tried to sit myself down on that cart over there, I was driven off by those boorish goat-things! Nobody has any manners any more! In my day...

(Nathan holds forth at length on the trouble with today's youth, societal changes and more.)

... But you're a sprightly young thing. Please, go to the shrine and put things in order, will you?

<CY>Note: You must venture into the </CY>[ZONE_DGN_BORSBURS_HARD|Pasper's Shrine (Hard)]<CY> instance to be able to complete this quest.</CY>

You did it! That's wonderful. You can already feel the energy from the shrine slackening off.

I'll rest here a little longer and then make my way home. Loric will get an earful, I can promise you that! Who knows what he's been playing at while I've been here doing all the work myself!

Thanks again, stranger. You did a really good job.

Oh, my knees are killing me. There's not even a bench I can sit down on!
