Luminous Ferns

Retrieve the [243031|Luminous Fern] which was stolen by the [<S>107939|Treeified Pirates] and [<S>107940|Treeified Pirate Wenches].

Oh...it's a tragedy, so sorrowful...the members of my tribe have died. They can no longer think nor speak. Isn't that a worse fate than death?

(The Entling's body shakes as it cries with sorrow.)

We Entlings live off sunlight, offering birds and other animals place to rest, and every day we gather together and tell tale of what happened each day. We are the animals' protectors. But recently <CY>the life force of the Earthspring has started abandoning us</CY>. As that life force leaves us, so too the ability to think and talk. We Entlings become mere trees, unable to move, unable to talk. Is that life? Is that a life?

These bovine humans who have invaded our lives bringing destruction and ruin, they have stolen the [243031|Luminous Fern] which <CY>replaces the Earthspring</CY>. And who now can rescue our tribe? Our only hope is to retrieve the [243031|Luminous Fern] which the [<S>107939|Treeified Pirates] and [<S>107940|Treeified Pirate Wenches] stole from us.

Oh! Your benevolence has saved us, young adventurer.

(The Entling's body shakes as it sings a joyful melody to itself.)

The life force of the Earthspring was gone, there was much sorrow, but you administered to our needs. The energy dwelling in the [243031|Luminous Fern] is not powerful enough to return to us those tribe members who have departed. But it is strong enough to allow us to keep on living...

The selfishness of these foolish humans is having devastating consequences. We will enjoy watching them succumb to the treeification. That will allay our sorrows, oh yes, allay our sorrows...

Oh! It's so sad...my tribe is dying. What anguish. Where is our savior?

(The Entling's body shakes as he cries with sorrow.)
